Madrid - classic and bourgeois chic

The capital city houses not only the royal palace and various palaces and churches but it is very attractive for nice parks and stylish avenidas with artful buildings from different styles. The business center around Salamanca and Castellana is the location of luxurious shops and corporate offices of financial institutions. Close to the Parque de Retiro well known museums as the Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza can be visited.
During spring 2022, there were some pandemic protection measures active. Many restaurants and museums were fortunately accessible to the public again.
